MVL HELPING HANDS PROGRAM

MVL Helping Hands Program, which is commencing from January 2022, is a program that offers options to help persons affected with Hoarding Disorder receive a discounted or free service and in return, allowing MVL Helping Hands to advocate and promote awareness around Hoarding Disorder and how it can/does affect the lives of those affected around Hoarding Disorder. Martijn van Lith is committed to helping Hoarding Disorder clients de-clutter their lives and get their lives and homes back. The biggest part of the program for advocating and raising awareness around Hoarding Disorder is to try to remove the harsh and negative stigma that has been present in the community for over 20 years which is in return preventing or scaring people affected from Hoarding Disorder reaching out for help. The truth is, out of the 4000 people Martijn van Lith has helped, 98% of Martijn van Lith’s clients expressed how they just didn’t feel comfortable reaching out due to fear of negative views, comments from all the negative stereotyping online or on TV Programs/News.

The community needs to be aware that 5-6% of our community is, in one way or another, affected by Hoarding Disorder and these people need to know that they are not alone and people like Martijn van Lith have a true passion for helping people with a 98% success rate.
